Hello! Welcome to my gardening blog.
Gardens that inspire me
One of the biggest things that keeps me excited about gardening is seeing what other people create. It doesn’t have to be a sprawling estate or a magazine-worthy landscape — sometimes it’s just a tiny front yard, a row of pots on a patio, or a raised bed tucked into a side yard. Big or small, every garden I come across seems to spark an idea and makes me want to head back home and try something new in my own space.
I love noticing the little details — how someone layers plants by height, mixes textures, or uses color in a way that just works. Sometimes it’s a perfectly organized vegetable garden, other times it’s a slightly wild cottage-style space that feels relaxed and lived-in. No two gardens are ever the same, and that’s part of the magic. They reflect the personality of the person who created them.
Whenever I visit a beautiful garden, scroll past one online, or even spot something interesting in a neighborhood walk, I find myself thinking, “How can I recreate a little bit of that feeling at home?” Not to copy it exactly, but to borrow the inspiration and make it my own. Maybe it’s a plant combination I hadn’t considered, a layout idea, or even just the overall vibe of a peaceful, welcoming space.
This page is where I’ll share some of the gardens that inspire me — the ones that make me slow down, look closer, and dream a little bigger about what I can build in my own backyard. Because at the end of the day, inspiration is one of the best parts of gardening. It reminds me that every garden starts small, grows over time, and is always a work in progress.
